Knitted Gryffindor Tam/Beret

This is from a pattern from Charmed Knits, one of my favorite knitting books because it's got tons of Harry Potter themed patterns in it, from clothing, to costumes, to toys it's awesome. (You can find it here if you'd like: [link])

I made this originally for someone else, and then they decided they didn't want it, so I guess I just kept it for myself... It's not my house, but what the hey, it's a comfy hat.

The pattern in the book calls this hat a beret, but I find it wears more like a tam, so that's what I find myself calling it. It's circular knit in stockinette with a single-rib band/brim and finished with double-pointed needles (like ya do.)
